The Edinburgh Research and Innovation (ERI) website is aimed at research-based companies, research-active universities, technology-based companies, SMEs (especially Scottish), government/not-for-profit agencies and investment companies that are looking to collaborate or invest in research and commercialisation activities within the University of Edinburgh.

Edinburgh Research and Innovation Limited (otherwise known as "ERI") is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of the University of Edinburgh, responsible for pre-award research support services, management of technology transfer activities, consultancy services, company formation, incubation facilities and management of the University science park.
