Collaborative Research

The University of Edinburgh's research portfolio includes projects that involve collaborations with industry from the outset, or where the project has reached a stage that working jointly with world-class companies would enable the research to be advanced into the 'near-to-market' stage, ready for development by the company's own in-house research team into a commercial product or service.

Latest collaborative research opportunities

Research projects are currently underway at the University for which collaborative/sponsored research agreements are sought.

Industrial Studentships

Industrial studentships are a scheme which supports research students working for a PhD degree as part of a collaborative research project with an industrial partner.
